The team is led by Jason John Maleski, whose market insight has been key to the success of the studio.
Creative Director
Jason John's background is in graphic design, photography and web design, but his strength lies in creative direction. After years of watching others struggle with directing the creative process, he decided to break out on his own to show them how it’s done. He founded BlueOrb Design Studio in 1997.
Like a sixth sense, his intuitive understanding of corporate identity enables him to uncover comprehensive strategies for image development, website design, advertising and promotion.
With sensitivity and skill Jason uses his drive for creative problem solving to customize unique solutions for clients in a range of professional sectors including retail, manufacturing, municipal, pharmaceutical and non-profit.
He holds a B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Creative Photographer
Corinne Marie is as passionate about photography as she is about life. A New England native, she finds the joy and suffering of photography is in the emotion of that instant. Allowing the right mood of a single, fleeting moment to translate through the lens is the challenge she lives for.
Corinne uses a digital SLR Cannon EOS 30D with a mix of lenses to capture the heart of her subjects. She has been with BlueOrb for five years.
Creative Writer
Bethany Yu is the newest member of BlueOrb Design Studio.
As part of the design team, she works alongside the creative director to develop a seamless blend of content and graphics. With grace and authenticity, Bethany works to thoughtfully convey her clients’ corporate identity through carefully selected words.
Bethany’s experience in writing and editing for academics and non-profit organizations has allowed her to develop an understanding of the balance in client relationships. Her work with a state legislator allowed her to hone her craft and build her command of language.
Bethany holds a B.A. in American Studies from Williams College.
Website Developer
Steve Warren is our faithful code junkie and the unsung hero behind our interactive projects. Equipped with a handful of energy drinks and an attention to detail which is unsurpassed, he constructs a website from the ground up never missing a bell or a whistle.
Armed with an arsenal of web programming languages including PHP, CSS, and AJAX, Steve is the man behind the curtain working to meet the requirements for any project.
Programming since 1996, a number of companies have been graced with his presence as part their staff including Tufts University, Boston’s Children’s Hospital, and the Princeton Review.
